WEEKLY NEWS DIGEST 05-11.10.2015

The main event in oil and gas industry last week was voting in Verkhovna Rada for the draft law on decreasing royalty payments for gas producers. For now the draft law was took as a basis and there is a hope that it will be improved and supported by the deputies in the nearest future. This is a good signal for market players, after a year of persistent demands the government and parliament agreed to low tax burden. If they manage to accomplish it, this will be the first serious step towards Ukrainian oil and gas industry.
