WEEKLY NEWS DIGEST 02-08.11.2015

At once several important events happened in oil and gas industry last week. However, one of the most anticipated - consideration of the law on royalty reduction - did not become the truth. Parliamentary Committee supported the adoption of the bill on royalty, and the matter was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada on Thursday, November 5. But disagreement in this regard within the governing coalition made the adoption of such an important law impossible. Another important issue for the industry is the reform of the management of gas transmission system. The state is trying to regain control over those systems.
