The events in Ukraine are forming the top news of mass media in the whole world now. The formation of a new government of Ukraine led to the wave of changes in the management of the state companies. It also affected the state companies that are subordinated by the Ministry of Energy and Coal Mining. The new assignments in them raise a number of questions.
The most troubled situation still remains in Chernomorneftegaz. The self-proclaimed government of Crimea decided to nationalize the state companies in the region, in particular, SJSC Chernomorneftegaz. From bad to worse, the attempt of Crimea to “merge” with Russia with the help of the latter can lead to the further escalation of the situation.
