Last week a little-known Cypriot offshore company Burisma Holdings, which owns several Ukrainian producing assets, made a splash in the media all over the world. It came so far that even the White House issued a special statement, as the son of U.S. Vice President turned in the Board of Directors of Burisma Holdings. Later it turned out that the former President of Poland Aleksander Kwasniewski also works in the company. In Ukraine everybody remains puzzled how such a solid public was involved in the business of one of Yanukovych’s supporters Nicholay Zlochevskiy.
