The reverse gas supply from Slovakia was launched the last week. According to the managers of Naftogaz of Ukraine, the capacity of pipeline supply is beyond any expectations. The planned volume of supply in amount of 20 MMCM per day may be increased up to 35 MMCM. The first days of operations showed the opportunity to increase injection of gas into underground storages from 15 up to 36 MMCM. With such trend Ukraine may accumulate more than 17 BCM of gas at the beginning of heating season which will partly relieve the stress of Naftogaz.
